Data Divers is a small company out of Texas. We teach people to read data, we build the apps we wished we had, and we go wherever the work takes us, which has turned out to be most of the map. Four of us, one boat.

Celia
Curiosity wins. Confidence follows. Data drives action. That is the whole philosophy, and Celia has spent more than twenty years proving it: building learning teams, curricula, and global programs that help people get comfortable with complicated technology.
She started Data Divers in 2018 and still teaches every cohort herself, from Nassau to Wimbledon. A Tableau Ambassador, she spends the rest of her time on semantic models, AI in the analytics workflow, and the Austin Tableau User Group.

Christine
Christine keeps the ship running: logistics, scheduling, the hundred small things that make a course feel effortless from the outside. She has been aboard since 2022, first as a business analyst and instructor assistant, now as Director of Operations.
She is also an operating room nurse and a legal nurse consultant, which is why the apps she builds teach at the bedside. Sinus Creek turns rhythm recognition into a river run. MCAT Village turns the long study nights into a place worth visiting. Her rule: kids play games to learn, why did we stop as adults?
30m · Director of Dev Ops
Connor
Connor works in all things infrastructure and application deployment, and likes simplifying the world of learning and development. He looks after the hosting, pipelines, and deploys that keep everything Data Divers publishes online and fast.
By day he is a technical support engineer who has kept Terraform Enterprise running for customers on Kubernetes, virtual machines, and every major cloud, including the air-gapped ones. If it can be provisioned, he has probably debugged it.
40m · Director of Engineering
Cooper
Programmer, educator, divemaster. Cooper leads the engineering behind the Data Divers apps, from the first sketch to the app stores, and built this site. Before that he was the Python subject-matter expert here, authoring more than 290 hours of curriculum on data analysis, visualization, and storytelling.
He builds web apps for a living, including Tacets, the home for music ensembles he wished his own band had, and spends his spare time on games and VR. He is also a dancer, which explains the rhythm in the code.
